Children's beach shorts - rust

LÄSSIG's beach shorts, made from recycled polyester, have a UV protection factor of 60 and an integrated layer: a must-have for swimming. Combined with sun cream, a hat and a matching anti-UV t-shirt from the LÄSSIG Splash & Fun collection, they protect little ones from UV radiation in the water or on the beach.

These anti-UV swim shorts are breathable, elastic and quick-drying. They allow total freedom of movement, so you can fully enjoy the pleasures of swimming. Thanks to the integrated diaper, the beach shorts offer an ecological alternative to disposable diapers.

Out of the water, little ones' skin stays virtually dry thanks to the patented absorbent system of the integrated diaper and inner lining. Moisture remains trapped in the inner layer, and evacuated to the outside over a large surface area. More serious accidents don't get into the water, and the UV-resistant Bermuda shorts can be washed at 30° on a delicate wash program when you get home.

Each pair of LÄSSIG Bermuda shorts is made from recycled plastic processed into yarn. It takes 12 PET bottles to make one meter of finished fabric. By using recycled materials and innovative processes, and by eliminating components of animal origin, LÄSSIG contributes to the circular economy and to preserving our earth's resources.

LÄSSIG beach shorts with UPF 60 protection have been tested to UV protection standard STANDARD 801 (Hohenstein Institute).


Indications for proper use
Prolonged exposure to UV rays can cause burns and skin damage. Other parts of the body exposed to natural UV radiation must be protected by other means, such as sunscreen or other UV protection clothing. The effective protection time of anti-UV clothing depends on the texture of the child's skin and the intensity of the sun's rays. UV protection may be reduced by normal wear and tear, and at the seams. Check the condition of the garment regularly and replace it if it is worn or damaged. Any repairs must be carried out in a professional manner. Anti-UV garments have a shelf life of 6 years from the date of manufacture, even if there are no visible defects. The label sewn onto the garment details composition, care instructions, size, date of manufacture and UV protection index. Please store the garment in a dry place. Wash after any contact with salt and/or chlorinated water. This is a UV protective garment (PPE category I) corresponding to the basic health and safety protection requirements of Regulation (EU) 2016/ 425, Annex II. The protective garment corresponds to the requirements of EN ISO 13688:2013, Protective clothing - General requirements. The product has been certified to UV 801 (based on AS/ NZS 4399:2017).
